Biography

Dr. Hassan has joined the Department of Business Administration and Accounting, Al Buraimi University College (BUC) in Sept. 2019. He holds Bachelor degree in Engineering from Tishreen University, Syria. In 2006, he received his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, UK. In 2015, Dr. Hassan received his PhD in Management with distinction from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), India. He is an experienced academician, consultant and a training professional in the field of Digital Marketing, Knowledge Management, Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has taught Business Administration Courses in Arabic and English at undergraduate and post-graduate levels for more than 10 years in India, Syria and Oman. Dr Hasan has served for more than 10 years as senior business consultant and trainer for various public and private institutions and associations worldwide including the European Union and Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) in India, Syrian Telecom, Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Saudi Binladin Group in Damascus, Syria. His area of expertise covers the areas of E-Marketing, International Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Knowledge Economy. Dr. Hassan has been awarded the most prestige and recognized scholarships worldwide to pursue his Master and Doctorate studies in the United Kingdom (2004) and Republic of India (2011) respectively. He officially represented his country in many national, regional, and international conferences, seminars, workshops and exhibitions regarding various aspects of Business, Marketing and Technology strategies. These included Oman, United Arab of Emirates, England, Scotland, Belgium, Germany, India, Holland, Serbia, Romania, Algeria, Egypt, Turkey and Syria.
