The establishment of Buraimi College has been a response to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos' (may God bless him) call for the private sector to establish private colleges and universities in order to offer better learning opportunities/and to help society cope with future challenges. This project has transformed His Majesty's vision on the importance of education in making Omani development in all fields a success.
It is certain that when education and technology are directed in a positive direction, they will participate in improving society and solving complicated economic, political and social issues. They will also help in producing social prosperity for Omani society.

Therefore, Buraimi college will offer quality academic education through recruiting qualified teachers with wide international experience and utilizing modern teaching technologies. The college will achieve this in conjunction with one of the oldest academic institutions in the USA, California State University which will monitor and supervise writing the academic programs and authorizing the degrees offered by the college.
Buraimi college will offer job opportunities, for Omani youth and will support commercial activities in Buraimi.

Referring to its sincere developmental goals and looking to continuous improvement and growth, Al Buraimi College is working hard to provide our society with high quality competences who are scientifically and academically distinct. Those competent graduates can make good use of their abilities and skills in the construction process of the country.
Al Buraimi College has established new scientific specialties that are very much needed by the private and public sector organizations.

The wise directives of Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al Nuaimi have a great role in providing the college with numerous materialistic and human facilities which enabled this ascending college to accomplish the aspired goals efficiently and effectively.

Al Buraimi College will play a purposeful role through the positive interaction with the society. This is due to the college participation in providing the society with several scientific consultation and offering many courses to push the development and growth towards the planned goals that comply with the development policy of the Sultanate of Oman. We will keep rehearsing this motto. ( We are strategic partners in the development stride ).
