  Human Resources Management and Planning  
This program provides students with opportunities to develop understanding and skills in problem-solving, dealing with personnel, and modern human resource challenges. Program students acquire competencies in dealing with organizational analysis, operations, taking-initiative in establishing, managing new firms and equipping them with the latest technology. Our graduates are capable of acquiring jobs in industrial business establishments. They proved abilities in modernizing work environments in areas such as, recruitment, staff development, training, job security, labour law, and worker motivation. Objectives:

The Human Resource Program is to design to solve the problem and challenges facing organization today in the areas of personnel and human resources management are manifold. In view of this concern this program is also designed to personnel specialists whose aim is to enhance their present knowledge and implement new skills and techniques within their organizations.

Bachelor in Human Resource Development:

The number of credit hours required for obtaining the Bachelor of Human Resource development is 120 credit hours. The Human Resource Development program’s graduates may find themselves with career opportunities including consultancy in both the public and private sectors. Emphasis using the internet toward the use of Human Resource related software. In general it is designed to provide the student with the up-to-date skills, knowledge and understanding required for the effective management of people at work. It is respond to market demand for skills in Human resource Development. Advanced

Diploma (3 years):

The number of credit hours required for obtaining the Advanced Diploma is 90 credit hours This Advanced diploma program of Human Resource Development provides graduate to acquire the knowledge and skills required to become a successful practitioner in Human Resource Management. Advanced Diploma graduate will possess the skills for development in variety of Human Resources Administrator, Human Resource generalists. It aims to develop an understanding of the theories, Strategies and Process of Human Resource Management and the skills necessary to function effectively as a Human Resource Manager.

Diploma (2 years):

The number of credit hours required for obtaining the Diploma is 60 credit hours. This Human Resource Development diploma program provides students a broad range of people and organizational skills and provides graduates with a range of career opportunities including staff recruitment, staff counseling and also legislative concept of employment and industrial relationship. It focuses on an analysis of Human resource systems within an organization.

Student Learning Outcomes:

As a result of completing this program, students should be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the activities and decisions that inform the employment relationship, including recruitment, selection and training of employees, health and safety, employment law, and motivation and productivity.

Job Opportunities:

The degree in Human Resource Development program has been carefully drawn to meet market demands qualitatively in particular in public and private sector. The program ensures offering graduates who will be efficient and effective in performing business and achieving organization objectives.
